Visit Peak District & Derbyshire might need no introduction to anyone who has ever visited the Peak District National Park, but for the uneducated, they are the ‘Tourist Board’ for the UK’s busiest national park, aiming to enhance and support the visitor economy in the local area.
We’ve known the team at Visit Peak District & Derbyshire for a number of years, having delivered workshops for the organisation in the past. We’re also embedded in a number of industry support initiatives run by VPDD, including a recently convened Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), where we are a contributing partner under a number of guises, including our involvement with the Federation of Small Businesses, and Arts Derbyshire, as well, of course, as being a small business that has operated in the area for almost a couple of decades.
We are big believers in sharing our knowledge with others and so when VPDD returned to us for the delivery of social media workshops for small businesses operating in the High Peak, we were delighted.
The cohorts we’ve met during these sessions have provided glowing feedback, and we’ve been watching on as they all put into practice what they have learned. A heartwarming sight!
