Weiss Technik UK Strengthens Presence with Move into Ireland

We’re always proud to see our clients achieve new milestones, and this month our friends at Weiss Technik UK have announced an exciting step forward. They’ll be expanding their operations into Ireland, taking over sales and service support across all 32 counties from DACTEC.

The team at Weiss Technik UK has been operating in England for over 25 years, supporting industries such as automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and semiconductors with their specialist environmental simulation technology. Over that time, they’ve built a strong reputation for reliability, expertise and responsive service, and now, they’re expanding that support into Ireland.

Since 2008, Weiss Technik’s Irish customers have been looked after by DACTEC, who have provided dedicated sales and service support for many years. With Dave and Cara from DACTEC now heading towards retirement, Weiss Technik UK will be taking over operations directly in Ireland from July 2025.

Plans for a smooth and seamless handover are already in motion, with the team working closely alongside DACTEC to ensure continuity for all customers. As part of this transition, Weiss Technik UK will place a dedicated Service Engineer in Ireland, so customers can continue to rely on local support when they need it most.

Weiss Technik UK specialises in both standard test chambers and large, customer-specific installations. Their portfolio is the largest of any supplier in the market, with solutions ranging from bench-mountable chambers to complete drive-in type facilities. Their testing technology permits comprehensive simulation and trials of the widest range of climate conditions found around the world, and the high precision of their systems ensures results are highly reproducible, a crucial factor for customers working in quality assurance and product development.

This expansion into Ireland marks another positive step forward, allowing the team to build even stronger relationships with their customers and extend their reach further across the British Isles.
