From launching their brand-new venture, Xtracto Europe, to continually expanding and developing their range of specialist equipment, the team at SPA Power Machinery certainly aren’t ones to stand still. And there are no signs of them slowing down any time soon, with a packed schedule of shows lined up throughout the autumn.
First on the agenda is GroundsFest, which kicks off on 16–17 September. Visitors to the SPA Power Machinery stand will be able to get up close with a selection of petrol and battery-powered Westermann machines, alongside the ever-popular Easy Petrol Post Driver.
Following the success of last year’s event, where the team picked up the award for Best New Landscape Equipment for the Westermann EGO Battery Moss Brush, the team will once again be showcasing the Westermann EGO range.
Among the machines on display will be the WKB660 and WKB430 Weed Rippers, giving visitors the chance to discover a more eco-friendly approach to moss and weed removal without compromising on the power and performance expected from professional machinery.
The team will also be giving attendees an exclusive look at the latest additions to the Westermann battery range: the brand-new STIHL battery-powered Westermann Moss Brush and Weed Ripper machines. Powered by STIHL’s professional ALLPRO battery system, these machines are well suited to all-day professional use across forestry, construction, horticulture and landscaping.

September is shaping up to be a busy month for the team, as they’ll head straight from GroundsFest to APF 2026 the following week.
Westermann and Easy Petrol Post Driver will be in tow once again, giving visitors the opportunity to discover how these innovative machines can help improve efficiency and performance across farming, forestry, woodland management and tree care.
This year’s APF is particularly special, as it marks 50 years since the show’s very first event. To celebrate, APF 2026 has been dubbed ‘The Golden Anniversary’ and promises to be bigger than ever, with an expanded programme of events and competitions, as well as exhibitors from across the international trade, including Japan and the USA.
One of the highlights will be the British Open Fencing Championship, hosted in the Fencing Village by SPA Power Machinery’s friends at McVeigh Parker. The Easy Petrol Post Driver and Xtracto tools will be put through their paces by skilled fencing contractors as they compete in a series of live demonstrations. Visitors will be able to see the machines in action while discovering their installation and removal capabilities first-hand.
With two major industry events taking place within a matter of weeks, it’s set to be a busy autumn for SPA Power Machinery, and a great opportunity for anyone working across groundscare, landscaping, forestry, fencing and land management to see some of the latest machinery innovations for themselves.

They’ll be showcasing Petrol Post Driver’s powerful and practical post-driving capabilities, providing an efficient solution for installing fencing posts across a range of applications.
