What’s Coming Up at the Business Hub Club Networking Events in Bakewell

Since becoming independent from the FSB, it’s been fantastic to see our Bakewell networking group continue to grow and evolve into what is now the Business Hub Club – a welcoming networking community based at the Peak District Business Hub for businesses across Bakewell and the surrounding areas.

The move has given us the opportunity to broaden our reach, welcome plenty of new faces, and invite an even wider variety of speakers to share their expertise with local businesses each month.

Over the past few months, we’ve been joined by some brilliant guest speakers covering a range of topics designed to support local businesses and professionals. Sessions so far this year have included:

• Personal health KPIs with Heather McLellan, The Return to Work Mentor
• Tax basics with Hayley Baxter of Corbar Accounting
• SEO insights from Phil Gregory of Peak District SEO

Each speaker has done a fantastic job of sharing their knowledge and sparking plenty of conversation afterwards too. In fact, some evenings have proved so popular that conversations have continued well past finishing time — we’ve practically had to usher people out before we got locked in for the night!

Dates Confirmed for the Rest of 2026

We’re also pleased to say that dates are now confirmed for the remainder of the year. We’ll be taking a short break over the summer in August, along with another pause in December for Christmas, but there are still plenty of opportunities to join us before the end of the year.

We now advertise all of our events through Eventbrite too, making it even easier to discover upcoming sessions and book your place.

We’ll be joined by Nick Brand of Peak Thinking – a Leadership Development Coach & Mentor. Nick’s talk will explore the transition from employment into business ownership, including how to build a sales process that feels effective, authentic and never overly “pushy”.
