Our green fingered friends at Plants for all Seasons have been busy lately. We’re rooting for their venture, Wholesale Plant Shop, a brand-new online platform that will provide businesses across the UK with access to thousands of wholesale plants from the best growers in Europe.
We welcomed Plants for all Seasons into the Destination Digital fold last year when we started working with them on their Google Ads management. Since then, we’ve been getting to know their business (and their enormous selection of plants!) rather well.
We love to see our clients succeed and grow and Plants for all Seasons have been growing more than just plants over the last few months! We’re very excited to hear about the next stage of their growth and new branch of their business: Wholesale Plant Shop.
Plants for all Seasons have taken everything they’ve learned from selling plants to customer online and created a unique trade platform. Their platform is designed to provide plant shops, garden centres, florists, landscapers and other green fingered businesses across the UK with a reliable source of high-quality indoor and outdoor plants with no minimum order value. This means even the smallest businesses can keep their displays topped up.
Many European growers and wholesalers require large minimum order values which makes it difficult for smaller businesses to access prices that work for their business.
And Wholesale Plant Shop haven’t exactly started small…
Wholesale Plant Shop has a huge range of both indoor and outdoor plants available. The platform brings together thousands of houseplants from a network of European growers, all available for trade customers to browse and buy through one platform.
Houseplant staples such as Monsteras, Philodendrons, Alocasias, Ferns, Palms and succulents are available to help plant shops and garden centres keep their regulars happy, along with a range of unusual and harder to find variants.
Plants for all Seasons also have quite the reputation for sourcing some weird and wonderful plants (we have a few in our office!) so it won’t surprise any regular customers that there are rare houseplants available.
For anyone who’s worked in horticulture, you’ll know buying wholesale plants isn’t always easy. You need to find a supplier, find out if they have the plants you want, make many phone calls and often find the stock you need has disappeared before you can get your hands on.
Wholesale Plant Shop is designed to make that process a little easier.
Businesses can register for a trade account and once approved, log in to see current availability, wholesale prices and order online. Instead of being limited to one grower’s catalogue and having to source plants from all over the place, the platform brings a range of grower’s catalogues together in one place.
Plants for all Seasons have many years of experience in the industry and have built relationships with key growers in Europe which means they can access competitive prices and offer UK businesses a no minimum order policy.
Eventually, the platform will be expanded to include pots, substrates and other sundries so businesses can source everything they need in one place.
They’re also opening up to third-party marketplace sellers to give other horticultural suppliers the opportunity to sell their products through the platform.
As with all of our clients, we’re delighted to see them embark on this new chapter and are looking forward to seeing how Wholesale Plant Shop develops.
