Having closed their doors back in March 2020, this gem of an independent cinema and bar tucked away in the market town of Wirksworth is ready for its close up once again now that England’s lockdown restrictions are easing. A cause for celebration indeed!
To keep everybody safe without comprising on safety or style, they’re adapted their cinema theatre space by removing half of the seating so that you can enjoy your film as intended, as well as introducing boothed seating in their revamped bar area so that you can relax with your bubble over classic cocktails or craft beer from Buxton Brewery and delicious food.
The whole space has been kitted out with the finest furnishings by Curiousa & Curiousa and Blackpop to create a truly unique night out. The Northern Light have also introduced an extra luxurious experience in the form of their new Blackpop Box at the back of the auditorium, perfect for a special occasion or simply ‘just because’.
