Hip-hip Hooray! FSB Business Networking in Bakewell to Return in 2024!

After an incredible year of FSB business networking sessions in our home at the Peak District National Park Authority HQ, we’re set to return after Christmas with a host of great speakers already lined up for 2024! Emily Coy, an experienced business coach, is our first speaker of the year on 17 January.

After a well-deserved break over Christmas, we will be returning for another year of FSB  business networking in Bakewell on 17 January, which means we get the privilege of being your hosts again in 2024!

We’re looking forward to hearing from our first speaker of the year, and someone who regularly frequents the networking sessions; Emily Coy, an experienced business coach from Chesterfield. If you want to know what you can do to grow your business, then you’ll want to come along and listen to Emily’s advice and the three key factors she believes every business owner should know.

Further dates to get into your diaries for FSB business networking in Bakewell

Take a look at the rest of quarter one’s planned sessions:

28 February
In February we will be joined by ex-Managing Director for Toyota Europe and former High Sheriff of Derbyshire, Tony Walker CBE DL.  Tony will be coming along to educate and encourage attendees on the benefits of applying for the  King’s Awards for Enterprise. Despite any sized business being able to apply for the award, 95% of winners have been small to medium sized businesses; which is great representation for SMEs!

The King’s Awards for Enterprise is for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of: innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility. Winners of the award not only get the opportunity to be invited to a Royal reception (imagine!), but also benefit from worldwide recognition, increased commercial value and an unbelievable amount of press coverage.

If applying for this award is something you’re interested in but you’re not sure where to begin, then mark 28 February in your diaries to find out everything you need to know from Tony!
