We’ve been on a journey with Baker Consultants for over 18 months now, helping them with digital marketing strategy and tactical support, guiding them with content production for their website and their social channels to help them increase their digital footprint and general brand awareness in their target audience.
The company began their 2021 with the announcement of a double win at the prestigious CIEEM Awards, and the business has continued to go from strength to strength. With increased revenue growth, an expanded team and higher profile through some landmark projects, they felt that the website was in need of a fresh new look to reflect the brand better, and the folks at Frogspark have done a great job.
Whilst the web developers looked after the look and feel and technical build, we got involved to help manage the content migration process to help refashion the site architecture, and help the ecology consultancy present its services to its audience in the most effective way. Every comma has been attended to, and every pixel of every image has been chosen carefully to present the brand to prospective clients in land development and planning. It’s been a case of keeping a watching eye on detail, detail, detail!
“The Destination Digital team has done a fantastic job of chivvying, handholding and cajoling, as well as consulting on the SEO and design elements of the new site. After 12 years we were ready for a new direction in terms of message and profiling and were glad to have Debbie and her team help get it done.” – Baker Consultants, Communications Director, Saffron Johnston.
The journey doesn’t end here though. Baker Consultants is active on the speaking circuit and so this website launch is timed just ahead of a busy month, including one of the first public shows the company will be attending since the UK lockdowns began.
Managing Director Andrew Baker is often called upon to present on ecology matters and wildlife law, and will be running a session on species protection law at the UKELA Annual Introduction to Wildlife Law Course in the second week of November.
Andrew will then be leading a seminar on Biodiversity Net Gain at the Farm Business Innovation Show. The Farm Business Innovation show will be taking place 10-11 November at the NEC in Birmingham and one of the Destination Digital team will be going along too. We’re eager to see the show and listen in on Andrew’s seminar, and in a marketing geek-out type of way, we are also keen to see the newly designed show stand designed by Thom Baker of Abergast too!
Technical Director Carlos Abrahams will also be presenting on bioacoustics at the Developments In Monitoring Science | BOUsci21 conference, hosted by the British Ornithologists’ Union 24-25 November. So it’s going to be a packed month for the company, making this the perfect time to launch a refreshed website.
Our thanks go to the web development team for an outstanding job, and the internal team at Baker Consultants who have helped make this website a masterpiece. We’ll be the first to raise a toast to celebrate!
