Wednesday 24 July saw us rushing around like busy bees as we got everything ready for the monthly FSB networking event in Bakewell AND the launch of Peak District Business Hub, an exciting new co-working space in the heart of the Peak District. From prepping canapés to welcoming delegates, we were certainly kept on our toes all evening!
If you are a regular visitor or read our content frequently, you’ll be aware of the FSB networking meetings that are hosted in the Boardroom at Peak District National Park Authority by our Managing Director and FSB volunteer, Debbie Porter (and if you aren’t aware, take a minute out of your day to read about our Quarter 3 networking events here).
In July, we took the opportunity to combine the launch of the Peak District National Park Authority’s new co-working space with our monthly networking session; introducing an exciting new twist to the usual format of these evenings. We were pleased to see so many new faces and hear from the Peak District National Park’s CEO, Phil Mulligan, who was all ears as people shared their ideas and questions about the National Park.
After spending quite some time prepping for the evening, we were super happy to see the canapés, Nosecco and (non-alcoholic) Pimm’s go down an absolute treat, all of which were perfect brain fuel for some interesting and stimulating conversations in the glorious Peak District Business Hub!
If you’re interested in booking a space at the Hub or want a look around before you decide, head to the Peak District Business Hub website here to find out more about the space, how to book and much more!
And since our office is just next door to the Hub, you could always tap us up for info.
