So, it’s no surprise that their latest invention is once again raising eyebrows and tempting taste buds in equal measure. So, what is it, we hear you ask? Say hello to the HECK! At HECK!, creativity is always on the menu. The team love original and unexpected flavour ideas, which is why they often call upon the children of the nation to dream up the next great HECK! sausage creation.

If you’ve followed HECK! for a while, you might remember Lola — the young sausage visionary behind the HECK! Lemon & Honey Chicken Sausage, which all started with a competition at their local primary school in Bedale. Her flavour combo was such a hit that it went from a simple classroom idea to the HECK! online store, and even went on to enjoy a short stint in fridges in Booths supermarkets across the UK. That success opened up a whole new world of sausage possibilities and proved that kids really do have the best ideas.

This summer, HECK! decided to go one step further with a nationwide competition, inviting children to design their dream sausage by colouring in blank HECK! packs and coming up with their ultimate flavour idea. The entries came flooding in, from sweet to savoury, bold to downright bonkers, but one stood out for its clever concept, bright design and playful twist: the Baked Bean Sausage.

Created by Olivia and Holly, aged 9 and 10, their winning design featured a joyful explosion of beans raining down over the HECK! logo. The team loved it instantly and couldn’t resist bringing the idea to life. After all, baked beans are a full English staple, so the next natural step was to put them inside a sausage…right?

The result is a comforting, nostalgic bite that brings together two British breakfast icons in one easy-to-cook package. Whether you’re serving them with toast, eggs or tucked inside a hearty sausage sandwich, the HECK! Baked Bean Sausage is sure to be a hit with kids and grown-ups alike.
