Q4 of 2024 is steaming towards us fast, and there is no sign of it slowing down now autumn is officially upon us! It’s been a great year of FSB networking in Bakewell this year, and Q4 looks set to finish the year on a high as we continue to welcome people through the doors of the Peak District Business Hub. So, what’s on the agenda over the next few months?

Wow, wow, wow…quarter four already! We can’t tell if it’s a terrifying reality that the year has disappeared in front of our eyes, or a testament to that old adage: “time flies when you’re having fun.” Either way, we all have something to look forward to as we enter the last three months of the year.

We have had an incredible year of FSB networking events in Bakewell, and it’s always a lovely surprise to see new faces turn up every month! So, what’s on the agenda for the next and final quarter of the year?

October

Up first on Wednesday 16 October, we will hear from Ian M Travers, founder of ThinkingitBetter. Ian founded the organisation back in 2012 to realise his passion for working with individuals, teams and businesses to help them transform their performance by unlocking the potential of them and their teams.  

The title of Ian’s presentation is: “Might We Be Getting In Our Own Way? Why What We Think Matters.” Once again this will be a valuable talk that might help you to take a moment to step back and reflect on what you could be doing to realise the potential of you and your team.

November

November’s speaker will be HKM22’s Heather McLellan; a mentor, speaker and specialist healthcare professional dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, small business owners and self-employed professionals successfully navigate work, life and health following injury or illness. So, if you’re looking for some advice to help you get back in the saddle at work, come along on Wednesday 20 November, where you can chat with Heather and discover new ways in which you can love work again without compromising on your health and overall wellbeing.

We currently have Wednesday 18 December pencilled in for the last networking event of the year. However, this event is subject to change as it’s the week before Christmas.
