Destination Digital Are Delighted To Be Announced Finalists In The Woman Who Achieves Awards

The team at Destination Digital Marketing is small but perfectly formed, and we work our socks off week in and week out. So, it’s great to receive recognition for our efforts with the announcement that we’re finalists in the Woman Who Achieves Awards 2021.

Destination Digital is led by Managing Director Debbie Porter who has over 25 years’ experience in the Internet industry. We are a digital marketing agency that specialises in consumer facing brand digital marketing with an enviable list of clients across the UK and Europe.

Set up during the 2020 pandemic, our journey has had a lot of twists and turns in the road along the way. Having just come to the end of our year one of trading, what better full stop to the end of our first chapter than the chance to add our first trophy to our cabinet?

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Start Up category in the Woman Who Achieves 2021 awards. Winning this award would, of course, mean the world to us as a small agency. We have big ambition and have worked through some demanding times.

Awards are a cause for celebration for the team who have worked so hard to help us achieve all we have during our first year of trading. With the Woman Who Achieves Awards, it is also especially pertinent since our entire agency comprises women employees, as are our 2 long-time part-time subcontractors.

We operate in a male-dominated industry where making promises and commitments are often divorced from the actual results delivered. Opportunities for women to get ahead in this industry can be unconsciously biased towards men, and so it’s great to ‘feel seen’ with this recognition of the efforts of our female team where we go over and above to deliver for our clients.

So, it’s fingers crossed for the awards ceremony in October in the hope that we make it through and bring home some silver (or glass, or a certificate)! In meantime, we’re really happy to be joining the ride.
