As we step into the final quarter of our FSB networking events at the Peak District Business Hub this year, it feels like this year has gone by so quickly! October

To kick-start October, we welcome back Lisa Tennant from LTVA Services – rescheduled from the summer date due to unforeseen circumstances that had her pulled away from us in July. Lisa is an award-winning virtual assistant agency offering admin, tech and marketing support to small businesses.

Lisa’s talk will walk you through 15 creative ways to grow your email list and boost your marketing. Whether you’re looking for new clients, partnerships, or inspiration on reaching new audiences, this talk is going to be the perfect one for you!

November

This month, we will be joined by Michelle Waters from local business Defib4Life – and who is also a client of ours!  This brilliant small business is growing fast, having taken on lots of staff and moved premises in the past year to cope with demand for what they sell.  What do they sell, you ask? As their name might suggest, they sell defibrillators/AEDs for community settings, and also offer life-saving first aid training, teaching people how to use defibrillators, administer CPR and use bleed control packs.

In this FSB Networking Event, Michelle will be providing understanding on how to respond in an emergency where CPR and resuscitation are required.

December

To round off 2025, we will be teaming up with Business Peak District once more. This is a local organisation who are passionate about supporting local businesses in the Peak District region and Chair Pete Dewhurst is a super-connected guy!

This once-a-quarter collaboration gives small businesses in the local area a chance to share their stories, strengthen local networks and be part of the wider conversation about the benefits and pitfalls of doing business in the Peak District.

This month, you’ll be glad to know we will be hosting a Christmas celebration event: a perfect way to end another great year!
