We’re Off To Leeds Next Month For The Forward Ladies Awards 2022!

We’re really excited to be able to get our glad rags on next month when we visit the Royal Armouries in Leeds for the Forward Ladies Awards 2022. We are finalists (yay!) and this small marketing agency in Derbyshire is humbled and proud to be included in a great line up of finalists.

What a great start to the month! The email arrived in the early evening on Monday night last week, telling us that we are finalists in the Forward Ladies Awards 2022 in the Best StartUp category.

The FL Leadership Summit & Awards is one of the largest celebrations of women leaders in the UK. The event seeks to recognise and celebrate outstanding female business leaders across the country, and we couldn’t be prouder to be included in this cohort this year.

Debbie Porter, Managing Director of Destination Digital, said, “It’s really thrilling to be shortlisted for this award and to participate side by side with some outstanding women leaders. We are a tiny marketing agency in Derbyshire but we work across the UK, into Europe and North America working on projects that continue to excite us day-by-day. We feel we are punching well above our weight with the projects and brands we work with, and so it’s great to be recognised with a seat at the table for the awards next month.”

The theme is #unstoppablewomen and we feel that the last couple of years has been a tutoring in this. It would be fair to say that 2020 onwards has been eventful, needing tenacity and an unbreakable spirit to deal with what life has thrown at us, so the theme of this awards sings out to us and it’d be an honour to take home a win.

We’re now looking forward to the awards ceremony which will be held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on the 25^th of November. We will be mingling with some of the UK’s finest women in business in a stunning waterside location which will be reward enough itself. Ahead of the awards ceremony though, we still have to sit before a panel of judges, so wish us luck!
