Find Us At The British Museum in London This October for The British Business Awards 2023!

Destination Digital Marketing is a finalist for best Micro Business of the Year in the British Small Business Awards. The awards ceremony will take place in October at the British Museum in London. How marvellous!

2023 is shaping up wonderfully. Hot on the heels of a trip to London in May for a black tie dinner at St Mary’s, Marylebone for The Small Awards, we’ve found out that we are returning to London in October as finalists in the British Small Business Awards 2023!

We are shortlisted in the best Micro Business of the Year category, and are really excited at the prospect of spending an evening immersed in the cultures of the world, spanning continents and oceans at the British Museum.  We’re shortlisted alongside some amazing other businesses which makes for stiff competition, so in our eyes we’re already winners to have got this far.

In the world of SMEs there are small businesses – up to 50 staff – and there are micro businesses who are businesses with a staff of up to 10 people. There are 5 of us on payroll and another 3 regular freelancers ‘on staff’ to help us keep the engines oiled and the wheels turning forwards for our small business and so we feel that, although we might be small, we punch well above our weight with the businesses we work with – and our clients definitely don’t fit into a micro business categorisation!

We’re looking forward to one of our favourite things about these awards ceremonies, which is to get to mingle with other businesses from around the UK. It’s a unique opportunity to meet with people who also run SMEs up and down the UK and compare notes, share information with each other, or just share a glass of something sparkling together and have a fun night in an amazing place.
