When Easy Petrol Post Driver came on board with sister companies SPA Power Machinery and SPA Landscaping, they introduced us to the world of post driving, and just how many industries rely on their equipment to help them get the job done quickly and more efficiently than traditional manual methods.
Their Petrol Post Driver machines have been popular amongst farmers, fencing contractors, events contractors, landscapers and many more. These powerful machines significantly cut down on labour time, turning tasks that one took hours, days or even weeks into far more manageable jobs..
Much to the delight of their customers, Easy Petrol Post Driver has expanded its range with two brand-new, high performance models, first unveiled at the APF Show and Groundsfest at the start of this year. These new additions offer even more choice for professionals who need reliable, efficient post-driving solutions. Introducing the Classic50 and Max107, the latest members of the Easy Petrol Post Driver family!
The origins of Easy Petrol Post Driver are rooted in hands-on landscaping experience. Whilst undertaking large-scale tree planting contracts, the team at SPA Landscaping needed a faster, safer way to drive thousands of wooden posts into the ground, especially in remote areas where heavy machinery couldn’t access. Their search led them to the Petrol Post Driver, and they were so impressed with its performance that they decided to introduce it to the wider market, helping other professionals benefit from its game-changing efficiency.
Manufactured by Christie Engineering in Australia, the Easy Petrol Post Driver is designed to install various types of posts into the ground with minimal effort. Using air compression engineering, it delivers a high-impact hammer action at 1720 BPM, making it a practical tool for applications such as fencing, tree planting and event setups.
Driving posts manually is not only time-consuming, but also physically demanding, particularly in rough or rocky terrain. The petrol post driver dramatically reduces labour effort while ensuring a consistently secure installation. This makes it an invaluable tool for fencing contractors, landscapers and event organisers who need to complete large-scale projects efficiently. Its lightweight, portable design also makes it ideal for off-grid locations where power tools might not be an option.
The original petrol post driver model, now rebranded as the Classic35, remains a trusted choice, featuring a Honda GX35 4-stroke engine, delivering 1.3 horsepower at a weight of 15.3kg. It remains a versatile tool for general post-driving tasks.
Now, the two new models, Classic50 and Max107, bring even more power and durability to the range:
Classic50: Equipped with a Honda GX50 engine, this model offers 0.7 more horsepower than the Classic35, making it suitable for more demanding applications. It weighs slightly more but remains portable.
Max107: Designed for heavy-duty tasks, the Max107 features the GX50 engine and a more robust build. At 17.95kg, it is the heaviest model but provides increased force and durability for challenging environments.
All models in the range feature interchangeable adapters, allowing users to adjust the tool for different post sizes and applications. Each machine also comes with a three-year warranty, alongside Honda’s engine warranty, ensuring long-term reliability.
If the new models sound like something you need to add to your toolbox but you want to get your eyes on them before you make your purchase, Easy Petrol Post Driver will be at a handful of shows later this year, where they’ll be showcasing the new models alongside the Classic35 post driver. Find out where they’re heading next here.
