Since Covid19 hit, the FSB has had to change the way they deliver their networking support for their small business membership, and one of the great triumphs of this tricky period was making the switch to online networking. As successful as Zoom networking has been, there is still always a place for in-person networking and so the FSB is back with their first physical event of 2022.
In October the FSB will host two FSB Champions Networking events that will bring together all finalist and winners from the 2022 Awards as well as create networking in-person the old-fashioned way, so bring your business cards!
Debbie is a long-time FSB volunteer member, helping the Federation of Small Businesses with their work in the East Midlands, working alongside other volunteer members in the area both sides of the M1 in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. As the former host of the Cromford networking sessions, opportunities to get involved have been fewer, and so she jumped at the chance to support the FSB by leading two speaker sessions at these events.
Debbie will speak on the value of entering business awards and how to make the most of being both a finalist and (should you be lucky enough) a winner. With tips on writing a winning award entry, and how to maximise the success of entering awards for your business, she’ll give pointers on using awards to promote your business.
